Expert Recommendations for Greater Civic Engagement

What influences a young person to become socially engaged? Parents should openly discuss local issues, teachers and professors should initiate discussions on political and social topics, NGOs should promote civic education and media literacy, institutions should consult young people on decisions important to them, and the media should create content that encourages them to be more civically active.
